Salary Range: Band 7 $132,572 - $144,942 + Superannuation

(Remuneration stated is for the full-time positions)

Work type: Temporary Full-time

Duration: Up to 24 months (Extension/s thereafter but not guaranteed).

The Role

Are you passionate about using technology, innovation and artificial intelligence to solve real business challenges?

We are seeking an experienced Business Innovation Lead to identify, develop and deliver innovative technology solutions that create value for both the organisation and its customers. In this role, you will combine your business analysis expertise, technology knowledge and stakeholder engagement skills to drive the development of new services, improve business processes and support continuous improvement initiatives.

Working closely with business stakeholders, vendors and technical teams, you will help shape the future of our technology landscape by exploring emerging technologies, leading proofs of concept and translating business needs into practical, high-impact solutions.

You will provide leadership across innovation initiatives, ensuring solutions are fit for purpose, deliver measurable outcomes and align with broader technology strategies and standards.

To be successful you will have

  • experience delivering innovative business solutions using existing and emerging technologies
  • demonstrated experience working with digital solutions and technology vendors
  • strong stakeholder engagement skills with the ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical audiences as well as senior leaders
  • experience leading proofs of concept, trials and small projects from idea through to evaluation
  • strong analytical, organisational and problem-solving skills
  • experience developing standards, guidelines, processes and documentation
  • a collaborative approach with a focus on delivering excellent customer outcomes.
