With more than 60 offices worldwide, we provide immigration services in more than 170 countries, supporting global companies and their employees across borders. We are looking for a Business Immigration Consultant to join our Japan practice and help deliver high-quality immigration support to our corporate clients.

About the Role

In this role, you will work closely with clients, colleagues, and Japanese authorities to manage visa and work permit processes, provide practical immigration guidance, and ensure cases are handled accurately and on time.

You will also help identify and proactively address immigration risks and compliance considerations, supporting clients through an ever-changing regulatory environment.

You will play an important role in supporting key client accounts—keeping communication flowing smoothly, meeting agreed service levels, and contributing to a positive client experience. This includes regular liaison with clients and Japanese government authorities, keeping stakeholders informed of regulatory or process changes, and supporting applications to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Japan, such as document legalization and police clearance certificates.

As you grow in the role, you’ll have opportunities to guide junior team members, support client training, and participate in internal projects that improve how we work.

What We’re Looking For

• A bachelor’s degree in any discipline (Law, languages, or HR are a plus)
• Ideally with at least 2 years of Japan immigration work experiences
• Strong interest to work within the immigration, mobility, or professional services space
• Strong communication skills in both English and Japanese
• A client-focused mindset with good attention to detail
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
• A collaborative, proactive team player
