JPMorganChase is committed to advancing an economy that works for more people by helping small businesses start, grow, and compete. Within Global Philanthropy, the Business Growth & Entrepreneurship team develops and scales strategies that expand access to capital, advice, networks, and market opportunities for businesses that have historically faced barriers to growth. We are seeking a Vice President to lead initiatives focused on small business procurement and contracting, build high-impact partnerships, and engage colleagues across the firm’s lines of business to advance small business priorities, including the American Dream Initiative.
The Vice President, Business Growth & Entrepreneurship will lead the development and management of a portfolio designed to help small businesses access procurement, contracting, and supplier opportunities. The role will originate and steward philanthropic investments, shape programs that strengthen supplier readiness and contracting capabilities, support partner performance, and use data and market insights to inform strategy.
A core element of the role is engaging across JPMorganChase’s lines of business and Corporate Responsibility functions to align small business efforts and translate procurement demand into practical opportunities for entrepreneurs. The Vice President will cultivate partnerships with business leaders, supplier-focused teams, community organizations, government, and other ecosystem stakeholders to help small businesses build the capabilities, certifications, financing, and connections needed to compete for and successfully deliver corporate and government contracts. The role will also help activate the small business pillar of the American Dream Initiative by connecting philanthropic investments with the firm’s business, policy, research, and market capabilities.
Corporate Responsibility (CR) includes Global Philanthropy, Public Engagement, Global Government Relations, the PolicyCenter, the JPMorganChase Institute, and Sustainability. The Global Philanthropy team consists of Employee Engagement & Volunteerism, Impact Finance, and national and local grantmaking teams.
The Vice President will bring strong program leadership, subject matter expertise, and relationship-management skills, as well as the ability to operate effectively across a complex organization. Success in this role requires translating the needs of small businesses and procurement partners into actionable initiatives; convening and influencing stakeholders across lines of business; managing investments and partnerships with discipline; and aligning philanthropy, business priorities, policy engagement, and local market strategies to expand contracting opportunities and measurable outcomes for small businesses under the American Dream Initiative.
