About the Role

To develop CS business & financial reporting system towards effective monitoring and achievement of business set targets, ensure accuracy and timely reporting..

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • The position is responsible for all aspects of business reporting and it is related ie: contest, sales report and others. This function also to provide more systematic and easy to read report for future reference. This position must also assist a team of employees towards excellence and individual development.
  • ANP and VONB reporting - to provide accurate and timely periodic reporting by all levels together with improving the reporting within the division and maintain a comprehensive report for respective business channel to help them to make a business decision. Liaison with sales director on their team performance vs. budgeted figures. Analyse and trending of sales key performance indicators.
  • Preparing other financial and management reporting such as premium accruals, experience refund, experience refund reserve etc. build in a clear end to end process to ensure compliance with statutory, regulatory, local and group reporting requirements, monitoring of suspense, balance sheet recon etc.
  • Assisting in monitoring portfolio profitability by channel and keep track persistency by channel to ensure that overall division’s profitability is optimize.
  • To support agency channel to drive their business by preparing a progressive monthly contest report and submitting agency production report to PIAM for agent’s licence maintenance purposes.
  • Supporting CSD budgeting process, and periodic forecast, and supporting the business planning process. Support ad hoc request from management / business planning materials/slides etc.
  • Support CS Finance’s collection management report and detail analysis on monthly basis
  • Assess opportunities for enhancement / automation in the preparation of relevant data and driving its realization.

Minimum Job Requirements:

  • Degree in Finance or Accountancy
  • Minimum 6 years of working experience in related industry
  • Self-motivated, committed and possess initiatives and drive in job.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline oriented environment as well as the flexibility to work hours needed to meet deadlines if necessary.
  • High proficiency in using spreadsheets, MS Excel, Word and Power point
  • Strong team player with good interpersonal skills.
  • Strong analytical skills and problem solving skills.
