You will primarily support our Basic Materials division and join our agile team in Mumbai in a fast-growing environment. You will bring experience in cash flow forecasting, foreign exchange hedging, financial planning, and analysis to support decision-making and drive performance.
You will work closely with global stakeholders and contribute to both operational excellence and long-term growth.
Your role
In this role, you will oversee cash flow forecasting, foreign exchange hedging, financial planning, and business controlling. You will help ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and local regulations, while supporting the sales team with financial guidance that drives sound decisions, financial stability, and strategic growth.
Manage cash flow forecasting and actively steer the company’s cash position
Lead financial risk management, including foreign exchange hedging and interest optimisation, and serve as the main contact for banking partners
Monitor and reconcile inventory positions
Support local & global accounting with day-to-day transactions and month-end reporting
Review and monitor business transactions and identify risks and opportunities
Provide financial support to the sales team for business decisions
Lead efforts to optimise logistics costs where possible
Continuously identify opportunities to optimise process flows and improve efficiency
Ensure compliance with internal policies, procedures, and local regulations while supporting the sales team on related requirements
Degree in Finance, Business Administration, Economics, or similar
Strong experience in cash flow management and treasury operations
Experience in business controlling, financial planning, and reporting
Experience from a multinational or global organisation is highly valued, preferable from the Chemicals sector
Minimum 5-10 years experience in business finance
