Responsible for continuously driving a culture of excellence in the organization, coaching and enabling waste removal activities using lean and six sigma approaches and tools and guiding actions to a sustainable conclusion.
What a typical day looks like:
Support lean and six sigma activities as defined in the GBE A3.
Support in designing and building workstations, supermarket racks, benches, trolleys etc.
Familiar with and able to use Moonshine tools and machines effectively.
Ensure good 5S in the work area.
Implement identified Best practices timely.
Prepare and upload completed kaizen projects in the BE on-line Systems.
Maintain and update various indicators on the lean gallery and other defined locations.
The experience we’re looking to add to our team:
Typically requires 2 years of experience in related field.
Use of the following tools may be required: Pipe cutters, drills, power tools, lean and six sigma tools, maintain catalogue ofwork stations, trolleys etc.
Telephone skills, data entry, office software to include, word processing, spreadsheet and presentation.
Demonstrates advanced technical skills which may be used to conduct on-the-job training and/or lead/guide other employees.
Highly skilled with ability to move between projects.
Demonstrates broad knowledge of functional techniques and has input to process improvement.
