Business Excellent Manager is responsible for shaping the organization’s long-term strategy, identifying growth opportunities, and driving strategic initiatives that accelerate the business growth. This role involves keeping track of KPI’s, analyzing market trends, evaluating business performance, and leading cross functional team to drive sustainable growth and maintain competitive advantage. Key job responsibilities
⚫ Strategy & Planning
▪ Work with GM to develop and implement long term strategies aligned with company vision and goals.
▪ Lead planning discussions with HQ and local leadership team to set the strategic goals and objectives aligned with the long term strategies. ▪ Work with Finance to translate the long-term strategic plan into annual budget plan and lead Sales forecast process.
▪ Organize and analyze data to develop company KPIs and dashboards, publish ad-hoc reports, and identify actionable insights to improve commercial performance.
▪ Identify and assess growth opportunities, including partnerships, new product launches and new market entry.
⚫ Financial & Business Analysis
▪ Collaborate with Finance to evaluate the financial impact of strategic decisions.
▪ Prepare business cases and ROI analyses for strategic initiatives.
⚫ Performance Management
▪ Utilize CRM and analytics tools to ensure data accuracy and decision-making efficiency
▪ Track progress of strategic initiatives and recommend adjustments as needed.
▪ Prepare and present reports to local leadership team.
▪ Review the current performance management system and propose improvements as appropriate.
⚫ Market & Competitive Analysis
▪ Design competitive benchmarking and competitor analysis and provide directional guidance to Marketing and Product teams to execute them.
▪ Monitor industry trends and macroeconomic factors impacting business performance.
Challenges in the next 6-12months
⚫ Lead Strategic Financial Planning
▪ Immediately after joining, take the lead—together with Finance—on critical financial events such as the F1 and the development of the 3-Year Plan.
▪ Understand market environment and competitive landscape, as well as the logic behind Sales & Marketing forecasts.
▪ Deliver highly accurate outputs based on company data and inputs from key departments.
▪ Review last year’s 3-Year Business Plan, identify areas for revision or reinforcement, and incorporate these into the upcoming plan in consultation with stakeholders.
⚫ Drive a Data-Oriented Culture
▪ Define key KPIs and create clear, insightful reports that provide actionable business improvement opportunities.
⚫ Go Beyond Analysis
▪ Not only validate issues but also suggest actionable items and identify new business opportunities to propose to stakeholders.
⚫ Own and Drive Results
▪ While stakeholders hold ownership of actions, the Business Excellence Manager is expected to act as a co-owner—persuading, influencing, and driving stakeholders to deliver results.

▪ Internal stakeholders; Sales leaders, Sales & Marketing team and all managers in Japan

Professional Experience
⚫ 10+ years of relevant experience
⚫ Experience managing multiple simultaneous projects on complex business topics
⚫ Experience leading SFE and operational enhancement initiatives in collaboration with leadership
⚫ Required: Hands-on experience in consulting, including involvement in strategy development and data analysis
⚫ Required: Background in strategic planning or consulting
Technical Skills
