Main Tasks:

Data collection and analysis and work plans development

• Collect data from systems & internal parties
• Analysis of current business segments with deep dive into each segment in every country
• Analysis of cross site profitability and provide data-based recommendations on profitable business development opportunities
• Analysis for new products pricing and potential profitability
• Work closely with logistics country managers to ensure data accuracy& reporting
• Design and execute work plans for new initiatives, service launches, expansions, and downsizing, including feasibility analysis and scenario planning.
• Overlook profit sharing within all the sites for new products and solutions
• Analyze logistics operational data, identify trends, exceptions to help growth and continuous improvement
• Leading the business analysis discussions in the global staff and set recommendations for logistics managers

Reporting

• forecasts, monitoring performance, quantities analysis, profit analysis
• build and report global KPI’s and set a dashboard
• Alert and provide recommendations

Annual Budget Process

• Coordinate the end-to-end budget cycle, including timeline planning, template management, stakeholder alignment
• Review of business plans, budgets and forecasts
• Prepare consolidated budget presentation

Management Presentations

• Create and deliver routine and ad-hoc presentations for executive leadership and management
• Including highlighting financial results, trends, and strategic insights

Manage Marketing Activities

• Oversee all marketing operations for ZIMLog HO and subsidiaries, including vendor management, campaign approvals, content strategy, and branding activities and brand compliance.

Administer Systems & Tools

• Maintain and update key business systems, dashboards, templates, and shared resources to support operational excellence.

Additional Responsibilities

• Support ad-hoc projects for both internal and external parties
• SOP preparation & Monitor Compliance & Quality
• Manage interfaces with various internal & external stakeholders
• Manage relationships commercially with ZIM as an ocean carrier (contract negotiations, rate management, solve bottlenecks)
• Degree in Economics/Industrial management engineering or business management
• Minimum 5 years of experience in an analytical/ economic position.
• High level of analytical skills.
• Knowledge and experience in the freight forwarding market, products & systems
• Experience with analytical tools development
• proficiency in office tools, Excel and PowerPoint in in particular.
• Systems oriented.
• Self-motivated and initiative mindset
• Fluency in English language (Speaking, reading and writing). Knowledge of other languages is an advantage.



Requirements

• Degree in Economics/Industrial management engineering or business management
• Minimum 5 years of experience in an analytical/ economic position.
• High level of analytical skills.
• Knowledge and experience in the freight forwarding market, products & systems
• Experience with analytical tools development
• proficiency in office tools, Excel and PowerPoint in in particular.
• Systems oriented.
• Self-motivated and initiative mindset
• Fluency in English language (Speaking, reading and writing). Knowledge of other languages is an advantage.
