Job title: Business Development/Branch Manager - Freight Forwarding

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Business Development/Branch Manager to join our team in the logistics, distribution, and supply chain industry. The ideal candidate will drive business growth, manage branch operations, and lead a team of professionals to deliver exceptional service to our clients while establishing a strong presence in the Australian logistics market. As the Business Development/Branch Manager, you will spearhead our Australian operations, leading business development initiatives and overseeing all branch functions. This role is critical to our expansion strategy and offers an exciting opportunity to make a significant impact on our growth in Australia.

Our Melbourne branch will offer a full suite of logistics services, including air, ocean, and land freight forwarding, customs clearance, warehousing, and project cargo management. Skills:

• Proven track record in business development within the freight forwarding industry
• Strong leadership and management skills
• Excellent communication and negotiation abilities
• Ability to build and maintain strong client relationships
• Knowledge of logistics distribution & supply chain processes

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement strategic plans to drive business growth in the freight forwarding sector
• Manage branch operations, including budgeting, staffing, and performance monitoring
• Lead a team of professionals to ensure high levels of customer satisfaction
• Identify new business opportunities through networking and relationship-building
• Collaborate with internal departments to optimize operational efficiency

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or related field (MBA preferred)
• Minimum 5 years of experience in business development within the logistics distribution & supply chain industry
• Proven track record of success in driving revenue growth and achieving sales targets
• Strong knowledge of freight forwarding processes and regulations
• Australian citizenship or permanent residency required.
