Our Opportunity:

As the Business Development Support Intern, you will be part of the Broker Channel Team. You will play a crucial role in supporting the Business Development Manager in various aspects of the broker channel’s growth and development.

Key Responsibility Areas:

• Support the business development managers in terms of:
  • Generating Quotations with guided checklist and Underwriting tool
  • Facilitating all new business, endorsements and renewal procurement process with internal stakeholders ie policy management team
  • Update sales report and pipeline reporting
  • Cover Note issuances for all lines of business.
  • Assist to edit quotation
  • Extract claims data for BDM to facilitate renewal discussion.
  • Assist to help out on Allianz events ie Sales Campaign, Townhall
  • Assist to liaise with Intermediaries on all support duties for BDMs to facilitate operational efficiency within the team.
  • Any other duties as assigned
• All General Lines of business from Retail to Commercial Insurance Products

Qualifications & Capabilities:

• Strong interpersonal & communication skills, both written and spoken.
• Outgoing Personality

• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly in Word (including mail merge), Excel (including pivot tables), and PowerPoint.
• AI-Skills e.g. ChatGPT, Microsoft CoPilot, Power BI an advantage.
• Demonstrates meticulous attention to detail, dependability, and conscientiousness.
• Collaborative team player
• Willingness to learn and adapt in a dynamic environment.
