
The Business Development Specialist will support the development and execution of strategies for ZEISS Vision Care to drive business growth and expand market presence.
• This role will assist in identifying new business opportunities, maintaining and developing relationships with existing clients, and supporting sales activities to increase market share for ophthalmic lenses, vision care devices in eye clinics, VCS (Vision Care Solutions), and related business models.
Identify new business opportunities, including potential clients, partners, and markets for ophthalmic lenses, VCS devices, and related business models.
Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with current clients to foster loyalty and repeat business.
Work closely with the marketing,back office, and training teams to understand customer needs and align solutions with business objectives.
Monitor and track outstanding accounts, ensuring timely follow-ups on overdue payments.
Education / Professional Certification
- Bachelor Degree in Optometry or Ophthalmology.
- Post education degree in Marketing or business preferred but not essential
Experience
- 2 years of experience in commercial areas of medical channel, pharma or medical devices.
- Ophthalmic industry preferred but not essential
