Job Description
This position supports the growth and execution of our Ethyl terminal business operations. This role is responsible for assisting in the identification and development of new business opportunities, supporting capital and infrastructure projects, and managing strong customer relationships.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain relationships with chemical producers, distributors, logistics partners, and other industry stakeholders to identify new commercial opportunities.
- Assist in the development of business cases, commercial proposals, and strategic plans to support evaluation and advancement of potential projects.
- Collaborate with internal resources to assess feasibility, alignment with strategic objectives, and value creation potential.
- Represent the company in customer meetings, industry forums, and relevant market engagements to enhance visibility and credibility.
- Support the design, engineering, procurement, and construction phases of development projects, ensuring alignment with safety, quality, and regulatory standards common to the industry.
- Manage project schedules, budgets, risk assessments, and communications.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for terminal and specialty chemical customers once operations commence.
- Maintain strong, long‑term customer relationships through proactive communication, issue resolution, and alignment on operational and commercial needs.
- Support contract management, renewals, and commercial discussions to ensure mutual value and customer satisfaction.
Qualifications
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE MINIMUMS
- Bachelor’s degree in relevant field such as Business or Engineering
- Demonstrated business acumen, effective project management and customer relationship skills typically acquired after 5 or more years of relevant experience.
