Job Description

Responsibilities:

  • Give technical presentations to customer base and industry organizations with a primary audience of engineers and management
  • Ability to travel, network, build rapport, and explain Tuboscope’s value proposition of a portfolio of products and services that add value, maximize performance, and extend customer assets life. Supported by our vast geographic footprint, operational depth, and technical support.
  • Sourcing new opportunities and aligning partnership solutions with
    • All O&G Operators
    • Pipe Suppliers/Distributors
    • Service Companies
    • Other Specialty and Industrial Companies
  • Developing and implementing commercial and strategic relationships with organizations in accordance with Tuboscope’s overarching goals, objectives, and strategies.
  • Negotiating attractive partnership deals and ensuring mutually beneficial partnership terms that are in line with business objectives and strategy
  • Identifying and closing new market opportunities with utilization of our CRM system
  • Work partner driven opportunities, in collaboration with sales and operational teams until close
  • Build and execute sales strategies to develop new opportunities
  • Manage and expand existing partner relationships as well as seeking out new ones
  • Manage coordination between customer’s business needs/goals and Tuboscope’s products/services and internal teams (sales, technical)
  • Determine customer activity levels (Exploration/Drilling/Completion/Production/Injection)
  • Contributes information to market strategy by monitoring competitive products and reactions from accounts.
  • Recommend new products and services by evaluating current product results; identifying needs to be filled.
  • Forecast revenues.
  • Determine market share.
  • Provide strategies and action plans to increase market share.
  • Utilize CRM to document all activity and opportunities.
  • Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities and industry events/training/conferences.
  • Other business development duties as assigned.

Qualifications/Requirements:

  • Minimum of five years industry experience. Tubing/Casing connection knowledge and/or corrosion background preferred
  • BS degree in Engineering, Marketing or Management.
  • Proficient in NOV’s `CRM, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Good presentation skills with ability to captivate an audience
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Understanding of company’s products, services, offerings, and business structure(s)
  • Self-starter that is highly motivated and innovative enough to seek out and create opportunities.
  • Must have excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Demonstrate the ability to communicate, present, and influence credibly and effectively at all levels of the organization.
  • Possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to build rapport, create connections, and drive engagement with partners
  • Goal-oriented, assertive, and hands-on problem solver.
  • Comfortable with 30% travel
