Job Description

Symmetrio is recruiting for a remote Business Development & Sales Manager on behalf of our client, a medical device company specializing in advanced imaging and image-guided therapy solutions. This individual will be responsible for driving commercial growth by developing strategic opportunities, building customer relationships, and expanding adoption of capital imaging technologies within healthcare systems.

The ideal candidate has experience selling Imaging capital medical equipment, understands complex hospital purchasing processes, and has a proven track record of managing long sales cycles within healthcare environments.

This is a full-time remote position with a base salary up to $150,000 and On-Target Earnings (OTE) of $220,0000 to $280,000, depending on experience and geography. This roles requires approximately 40% travel.


Key Responsabilities

  • Develop and execute commercial strategies to expand the company’s imaging business in the U.S.
  • Identify, pursue, and manage new business opportunities with hospitals and healthcare organizations.
  • Build relationships with key stakeholders across radiology, radiation oncology, neurosurgery, surgical specialties, and hospital leadership.
  • Support customer evaluations, product demonstrations, and market launch activities.
  • Develop relationships with clinical experts, key opinion leaders, and reference sites.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Marketing, Clinical, Engineering, Regulatory, and Executive Leadership to support commercialization efforts.
  • Provide market insights, competitive intelligence, and customer feedback to support business growth.
  • Represent the company at industry conferences, meetings, and healthcare events.
  • Support strategic partnerships and channel development initiatives.
  • Meet assigned sales and business development goals.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree required.
  • 5+ years of experience in medical device sales, business development, or commercial roles focused on capital equipment.
  • Background selling advanced imaging technologies, diagnostic systems, or other complex healthcare equipment preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of hospital purchasing processes, including working with multiple clinical and administrative stakeholders.
  • Proven ability to manage complex, consultative sales cycles from opportunity development through closing.
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to travel approximately 40% as needed.
