PURPOSE OF THE POSITION

Support and assist the Country Director and Account Managers in the preparation of the Country Strategy and Account Plans and the Business Intelligence. Contribution to the communication documents and presentation is also part of the scope.

1. Preparation of the new version of the Country Strategic Plan (CSP) to support the growth in Japan and reinforce Thales presence:

  • Build a strong understanding of Thales markets
  • Define customer’s strategic businesses, operational environments
  • Assess competition and local partner’s ecosystem

2. Support to Sales and Marketing team in Business Development activities

  • Identify new markets and define positioning
  • Identify solutions to promote within Thales portfolio
  • Prepare presentation Sales and Marketing kits

3. Support to Key Account and Account managers to build and update Key Account Plan (KAP)

  • Local Market Analysis
  • Competition assessment
  • Local partners analysis

4. Gathering Business intelligence (metrics analysis) to provide an overview of the market and the Group’s positioning. Prepare monthly Business Intelligence report to be distributed to all internal stakeholders Participate to internal and external communication

  • Organization to external exhibition and events
  • Preparation of internal and external tool kits

Person Profile

  • Eligible candidates should have a structured and analytical mindset with attention to detail
  • The ability to operate in an international environment dealing with multiple project teams is essential to understand Asian and European culture difference
  • Above all the candidates should be versatile, proactive, enthusiastic and able to attune to the changing needs of the business
  • A responsible team player who is also able to work independently
  • Written and oral communication skills with ability to prepare comprehensive documentation

Requirements

Eligible candidates should possess a business degree with focus on the following:

  • International Marketing and Sales
  • Understanding of International Politics
  • Due to the nature of the work, proficiency in both spoken and written French and English is essential Japanese knowledge would be an advantage.
  • Computer skills – strong knowledge in excel [advance level], power point & word
  • Knowledge of Defense and Aerospace industries is an advantage
  • A technical background will be appreciated
