The Role:
As a Business Development Representative with Launch, you'll take on a pivotal role in fostering and expanding relationships with crucial decision-makers across our client base. Your primary focus will be on identifying and capitalizing on growth opportunities within client organizations and engaging with key stakeholders across various levels. This position not only offers an avenue for professional growth but also provides an invaluable platform for honing essential skills in relationship-building and business development.
Key Responsibilities:
Sell Launch Consulting Introduce Launch Consulting as a digital transformation leader and partner to prospective client companies, using a consultative approach, through multiple resources including prospecting/cold-calling, presentations/meetings, referrals, social media, etc
Research and Strategy: Conduct in-depth research to understand the prospective client's industry, pain points, and needs
Qualifying Leads: Assess and qualify leads obtained through various channels, ensuring that scheduled meetings are aligned with our target audience and objectives
Cold Calling: Initiate and conduct targeted cold calling campaigns to prospective clients, effectively communicating our value proposition and services
Strategic Meeting Setting: Driving efforts to set up and schedule meetings with potential clients involves a strategic and organized approach
Effective Communication: Articulate our offerings to prospective clients, highlighting the benefits and solutions we provide. Your communication skills will be pivotal in engaging potential clients, addressing their queries, and nurturing initial interest into meaningful conversations
Building Rapport: Establish a rapport swiftly, demonstrating professionalism, empathy, and a genuine interest in addressing the client's needs (This skill will be crucial in fostering lasting relationships)
Work Independently: exercise independent judgment in the determination of engaging, developing, and maintaining suitable clients
Education and Experience:
BA/BS in Business, Management, or related field
1-3 years of sales/business development experience
Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and the ability to self-manage
Ability to problem solve and make decisions quickly and effectively
Excellent listening and communication skills
Professional oral and written communication skills
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
Compensation and Benefits:
As an employee at Launch, you will grow your skills and experience through a variety of exciting project work (across industries and technologies) with some of the top companies in the world! Our employees receive full benefits—medical, dental, vision, short-term disability, long-term disability, life insurance, and matched 401k. We also have an uncapped, take-what-you-need PTO policy. The base salary range for this role is $60,000 - $70,000, plus variable compensation.
