When the most common response to what you sell is “that’s really cool,” you know you’re in the right business.
Science North is a recognized global leader in creating award-winning science experiences, trusted by museums and cultural organizations around the world. Through our external sales business, we bring these experiences to science centres, museums, and venues across international markets.
As we expand one of our flagship offerings, now enhanced with a new digital platform and integrated on-site experience, we’re entering an exciting new phase of growth. If you are energetic, organized, curious, and confident in outbound sales, we want to hear from you.
You Will Get To:
• Identify, research, and engage prospective clients across target markets
• Conduct outbound outreach through email, phone, LinkedIn, and other channels
• Cold call and follow-up consistently to generate new opportunities
• Qualify leads by understanding client needs, timelines, budget realities, and suitability
• Book meetings and presentations for senior sales team members
• Develop a strong understanding of Science North’s products and experiences to present them clearly and confidently
• Deliver introductory presentations and product overviews to prospective clients
• Maintain accurate records of outreach activity, lead status, and opportunity progress within CRM
• Provide feedback on what’s resonating (or not) in market
• Collaborate with marketing on campaigns and targeting
Keys to Success:
• Ability to build a strong and active pipeline of prospective clients
• Manage multiple outreach streams and follow-up cycles at once
• Represent Science North professionally and enthusiastically in every interaction
• Help create a strong first impression that leads to long-term client relationships
• Contribute to team sales goals through consistent activity and results
Qualifications:
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills
• Proven experience in outbound sales, business development, lead generation, or a similar client-facing sales role
• Confidence in cold outreach, including phone-based prospecting and follow-up
• Experience using CRM tools to manage pipeline, activity, and client information
• Ability to quickly understand products and communicate their value to different audiences
• Exceptional organization and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities
• Passionate customer-focused mindset and the ability to adapt quickly to changing needs and opportunities
• Energy, persistence, creativity, and a results-oriented approach
