What You'll Do

• Identify new prospects and grow sales with existing customers.
• Develop monthly territory sales plans and pursue new business opportunities.
• Visit customers to understand their needs and recommend product solutions.
• Help customers promote, display, and market John F. Martin products.
• Partner with customer service to ensure orders are complete and accurate.
• Monitor market trends and competitor activity, track sales progress, and recommend opportunities for growth.
• Represent JFM at industry meetings and support new customer onboarding.

What You Bring

• Education or 3–5 years of experience in sales and marketing.
• A background in perishable foods or consumer packaged foods is preferred.
• Strong communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills.
• A customer-focused approach, initiative, and a drive to achieve results.
• Strong organization, problem-solving, and territory planning skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook, plus the ability to work with company ERP systems.
• A valid Class C driver's license and availability for extensive travel during the business week.

Position Details

Full-time, salaried position with a generally Monday–Friday schedule. Additional hours or days may be required based on business needs.
