The Role

Kodex is launching its formal Business Development Representative program. We're hiring our first cohort of two BDRs — the team that will define what outbound looks like at Kodex.

You'll spend your days on the phone and in the inbox, building pipeline for our Account Executives, learning enterprise sales, and setting yourself up for your own move into an AE seat. This is a career-track role with structured coaching, a real playbook, and a clear promotion path.

This is an in-office role in Boston. If you're a recent grad or early-career pivot who wants to learn sales the right way at a company that's actually scaling, this is that role.

Responsibilities

• Outbound prospecting — build pipeline through phone, email, LinkedIn, event, and signals-based outreach against target account lists.
• Inbound follow-up — qualify and route demo requests, marketing-qualified leads, and event follow-through.
• Target account development — research and strategic outreach on assigned accounts in partnership with AEs.
• Discovery calls — qualify prospects and set meetings that AEs can close.
• CRM discipline — HubSpot hygiene, activity tracking, pipeline reporting.
• Coachability — daily and weekly cadences with your manager, ongoing skill-building, call reviews.
• Team collaboration
• Event staffing - (Available to travel ~10% of the time)

• Boston metro location — you're comfortable working in-office 3+ days per week.
• Phone composure — you can hold an executive-level conversation by phone without the video crutch.

• Polish and charisma — you can hold a room, read a stakeholder, and adjust.
