Coframe is a primarily in-person company based in San Francisco, well-capitalized with backing from Khosla Ventures, Nat Friedman, the founder of Android, and others. Our team is small and talent-dense, consisting of competitive programmers, former founders (including our founder who previously co-founded a unicorn), and AI researchers from top institutions who have created some of the most popular open-source code generation projects.

About the role:

As a Business Development Representative, you will be foundational to our go-to-market motion. You’ll be building your own lead lists, representing us at conferences and events, developing real relationships, and helping shape how Coframe shows up in the market. You'll build and own your own pipeline, run outbound campaigns against high-value target accounts, and help define the outbound playbook as our sales team scales.

What you’ll do:

• Source new sales opportunities through inbound qualification and outbound outreach, identifying target companies, personas, and buying signals.
• Proactively build and own target accounts and prospect lists across our key verticals.
• Execute personalized outbound campaigns via email, LinkedIn, referrals, cold calling, and creative channels to generate qualified meetings
• Test and iterate on experimental marketing, outbound messaging, and GTM motions, using data to continuously improve outbound performance
• Partner closely with Account Executives to develop account strategies and book high-quality meetings.
• Act as an ambassador to represent Coframe at industry events, conferences, and meetups
• Clearly articulate Coframe’s value and identify strong handoffs to AEs, and maintain clean, detailed records in the CRM
• Develop a working knowledge of conversion optimization, growth, and how AI-driven experimentation fits into a modern marketing stack

You may be a fit if:

• Experience in business development, sales, consulting, or another outbound-heavy, customer-facing role.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, clear and confident with the ability to engage senior decision-makers
• Comfort with cold outreach, networking, and live conversations and willingness to travel for conferences and events
• You are detail-oriented and have strong organizational skills, a high level of ownership and resourcefulness, and ability to thrive in fast-paced environments.
• Comfortable with cold outreach and prospecting tools.
• Based in or willing to relocate to San Francisco

Nice to Have:

• Experience selling to growth, marketing, product, or CRO/experimentation leaders
• Experience at an early-stage startup or on a small, high-performing GTM team
• Experience prospecting into B2B SaaS or e-commerce organizations
