We are looking for a Business Development Representative to join our dynamic Cape Town Sales Team! If you’re a proactive self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced environment, we’d love to hear from you!

As the ideal candidate, you excel at

  • Making high-volume outbound calls daily

  • Building strong relationships with partners

  • Sparking interest and generating leads

  • Qualifying prospects effectively

  • Closing deals with confidence

Responsibilities:

  • Build a strong understanding of TransPerfect’s services, including their benefits and competitive advantage

  • Identify and target prospective customers and organizations to drive sales activities

  • Establish new client relationships through methods such as cold calling, online research, and trade shows

  • Collaborate with Sales Management to identify, qualify, develop, and close sales opportunities

  • Educate clients on TransPerfect’s services, promoting their value and relevance to client needs

  • Work closely with the Production Management Team to manage client expectations and provide exceptional customer support

  • Oversee pricing and contractual matters, ensuring compliance with company procedures

  • Stay informed about clients’ industries, business goals, and company culture to uncover opportunities and deliver tailored solutions

  • Take on additional projects or duties as needed to support business objectives

Requirements

  • Minimum Bachelor’s degree or its equivalent

  • Prior working experience in a customer facing role would be a plus

  • Fluent in English

  • Excellent problem solving and analytical skills

  • Strong interpersonal skills

  • Effective time management

  • Ability to interact with clients in a confident manner
