We're looking for a Business Development Representative (BDR) to help fuel our next stage of growth. As one of the first BDRs at Waitwhile, you'll play a key role in building our outbound motion from the ground up.
This is more than a traditional prospecting role. You'll work closely with Sales leadership to identify target accounts, refine messaging, test new approaches, and generate qualified pipeline for our Account Executives. Your feedback and ideas will directly influence how outbound sales is built and scaled at Waitwhile.

Outbound prospecting
Prospect into target accounts through calls, emails, LinkedIn, and other outbound channels
Research accounts and identify key decision makers
Book qualified meetings and create pipeline opportunities for Account Executives
Personalize outreach while maintaining strong activity levels
Build and improve the outbound motion
Partner with Sales leadership to refine targeting, messaging, and outreach strategies
Contribute ideas, insights, and feedback to improve performance
Help establish best practices and scalable outbound processes
Bring a builder mindset to experimentation and continuous improvement
Manage tools and workflows
Maintain accurate account and prospect data in HubSpot
Use tools such as Amplemarket, Trellus, and ZoomInfo to identify and engage prospects
Stay organized across outreach, follow ups, and pipeline creation
Continuously improve productivity and workflow efficiency
Collaborate across teams
Share customer insights and market feedback with Sales, Marketing, and RevOps
Partner closely with Account Executives to ensure smooth handovers
Surface objections, trends, and opportunities from prospect conversations
1 to 2+ years of experience in B2B SaaS sales, business development, or outbound prospecting
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
Ability to work independently and take ownership of your results
Comfortable operating in a fast paced environment where processes are still evolving
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Curiosity, resilience, and a willingness to learn through experimentation
A proactive mindset and genuine interest in building something new
Experience in an early stage startup or scaleup environment
Familiarity with HubSpot, Amplemarket, Trellus, or ZoomInfo
Experience prospecting into mid market or enterprise accounts
Experience selling into industries such as retail, healthcare, travel, operations, or customer experience
Experience helping shape messaging, cadences, or outbound processes
Interest in sales development strategy and process optimization

Compensation: This range is provided by Allegion. Your actual pay will be based on your skills and experience.
The expected Base Salary Range: $60,000 - $80,000; OTE: 85,000 – 115,000. The actual compensation will be determined based on experience and other factors permitted by law
