About the Role:

We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Business Development Associate to lead growth efforts in hospice care. This role is responsible for identifying, engaging, and securing partnerships with facilities, hospitals, and physician offices, while communicating with the referral/admission coordinators The ideal candidate has strong knowledge of the hospice landscape, a proven track record, and the ability to build trusted relationships with medical professionals. The ideal candidate is a team player with a heart for patients and families offering the best care available.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Drive New Business: Identify and develop new primary care opportunities in the assisted living space through strategic prospecting, networking, and market research.
  • Build Relationships: Establish and maintain long-term relationships with physicians, practice administrators, and other key decision-makers.
  • Sales Strategy: Create and execute go-to-market strategies to meet and exceed sales targets.
  • Contract Negotiation: Lead contract negotiations with healthcare providers, ensuring mutual value and alignment.
  • Market Intelligence: Monitor industry trends, competitor activity, and emerging opportunities within primary care.
  • Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with marketing, operations, and clinical teams to align offerings with client needs.
  • Reporting & Forecasting: Maintain accurate pipeline data and provide regular sales forecasts and performance reports to senior leadership.



Qualifications



Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, Healthcare Administration, Marketing, or related field is preferred
  • 3+ years of experience in a hospice, healthcare or similar setting.
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets
  • Ability to travel regionally as needed (up to 50%)

Preferred Skills:

  • Familiarity with value-based care models, EMRs, and healthcare compliance regulation
