We are looking for experienced business development professional with expertise in SAAS sales cycle.

VIDIZMO is an AI software company headquartered in Tysons, Virginia. Our products are Nexus, AI Intelligence Hub, AI Live Insight, and Redactor. Together they help organizations search, analyze, redact, and act on unstructured data, and they treat video, audio, images, documents, and text as equally important sources.

More than 100 organizations use VIDIZMO in production. They work in public safety and justice, government, healthcare, financial services, education, legal, manufacturing, and energy. Many run it on-premises, in air-gapped setups, or in FedRAMP High environments, on an architecture aligned with the CJIS Security Policy.

As an independent software vendor, we build and support the platform. A global network of channel partners sells, deploys, and services it for their own clients. That means our team focuses on making partners and customers successful rather than running a traditional direct-sales funnel. VIDIZMO is an NVIDIA Inception partner, a Microsoft Solutions Partner for Data & AI, and ISO/IEC 27001:2022 certified. Customers can buy through GSA, Carahsoft, and state and cooperative contract vehicles.

The Role

This is a player-coach role. At first you'll run sales and business development end to end yourself: prospecting, closing deals, and delivering results. As you prove the model, you'll grow into leading a team. Promotions are based on proven performance.

Required Competency: Owning AI-Assisted Work

You'll use AI tools such as Claude, ChatGPT, or Copilot every day, but you are responsible for the final output. Treat anything AI produces as a first draft. Check it for accuracy, completeness, logic, and compliance, and refine it until it meets our standards. You're accountable for the result no matter which tools you used.

Key Responsibilities

Sales & Business Development

• Find and convert leads across target market segments to meet revenue goals
• Build and grow relationships with enterprise, government, and partner accounts
• Develop sales strategy, pricing, and negotiation plans that support growth and profitability
• Lead RFPs, RFIs, and tenders from start to finish, working with internal teams to submit on time
• Spot new business opportunities, market segments, and partnerships
• Produce reliable sales forecasts, plans, and reports

Go-To-Market

• Shape product positioning, messaging, and value propositions for each buyer persona
• Plan and run go-to-market efforts for product launches and new features
• Work with Product, Sales, and Marketing to keep campaigns aligned with business goals
• Create sales enablement materials such as pitch decks, one-pagers, and competitive battlecards
• Support demand generation with persona-focused content, including blogs, videos, and webinars

Market Intelligence & Optimization

• Research the market and competitors to find trends and gaps
• Monitor campaign and sales performance and adjust to improve results
• Manage budgets for campaigns, promotions, and events
• Turn data into recommendations that lift conversion and revenue

Path to Leadership

• Deliver strong results yourself first, then build and lead a small BD team

What You Bring

• Excellent spoken and written English (required)
• Experience selling to the US market
• A bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
• 5–7 years in B2B SaaS or enterprise technology, in sales, business development, or product marketing
• A proven record of selling and positioning SaaS-based IT solutions
• Strong presentation, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
• Experience leading teams and consistently meeting revenue targets
• Strong analytical skills and a data-driven approach to decisions
• Hands-on use of AI tools like ChatGPT as a core part of how you work
• A collaborative mindset and a habit of taking ownership across functions

Nice to Have

• Experience in video, evidence management, or public safety technology
• Familiarity with CJIS Security Policy-aligned architecture, the Microsoft ecosystem, or public safety markets
• Knowledge of enterprise or government procurement (RFPs and RFIs)
