We are seeking an experienced Business Development Professional to join our team and drive growth in property and facilities management services. This individual will play a key role in identifying, pursuing, and securing new business opportunities across office, retail, industrial, and multifamily sectors. You’ll partner with senior leadership and collaborate with an established team to grow Friedman’s footprint in the Chicagoland market and beyond.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute business development strategies in alignment with company growth goals
  • Identify and engage commercial real estate owners, promoting Friedman’s management services
  • Build and manage a pipeline of prospects, maintaining accurate records in the CRM system
  • Represent Friedman at client meetings, networking events, and industry functions
  • Lead development of tailored proposals and presentations in collaboration with internal teams
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and RFP opportunities to support new business efforts
  • Drive expansion of Friedman’s portfolio through new management contracts and strategic partnerships



Qualifications

  • 3+ years of experience in commercial real estate, preferably in property/facility management or business development
  • Strong knowledge of office, retail, industrial, and multifamily asset classes
  • Proven track record of building relationships and closing new business with owners, private equity firms, and financial institutions
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and organizational skills
  • Proficiency with CRM platforms (MS Dynamics 365 or similar)
  • Based in or able to travel regularly to the Chicagoland area and surrounding Midwest markets
