Job Description

Business Development & Partnerships Manager

All About Caring – Client Intake & Engagement Team
Full-time | Sydney-based | Regular Travel Required

About All About Caring

For 25 years, All About Caring has been supporting people with complex needs to live safer, more stable and more meaningful lives.

We support people living with brain injury, spinal cord injury and degenerative neurological conditions, many requiring 24/7support in their own homes or in Specialist Disability Accommodation (SDA)

Our referral partners come to All About Caring when they need clarity, honesty and meaningful solutions — not vague conversations or surface‑level engagement. This role exists to protect that standard, out in the field, where trust is built face‑to‑face.

For the first time in over 11 years, we are seeking a new Business Development & Partnerships Manager, following our previous superstar retiring, and we’re excited to welcome someone who will continue their legacy of delivering gold class experiences to new clients and the case managers who represent them.

About the Role

We are seeking a Business Development & Partnerships Manager, who will be a key connection point between All About Caring and the broader health, disability and community sector.

This is a field-based role with a unique combination of strategic partnership management with active business development, while will see you identifying new referral pathways, nurturing leads, and supporting the growth of All About Caring’s client referral pipeline. You will represent AAC
as a credible, trusted partner — someone who can confidently communicate our values, capability, and service model.

The role involves regular travel across the Eastern states and regions of Australia, building face‑to‑face relationships and maintaining strong market visibility.

What You’ll Do:

  • Develop and manage a strong referral pipeline across the disability, health and community sectors, ensuring a consistent flow of well‑matched opportunities aligned to AAC’s service capability
  • Build new relationships and nurture long‑term partnerships with referrers, case managers, clinicians, families and stakeholders, positioning AAC as a trusted provider of complex care
  • Maintain a strong field presence, travelling regularly across the Eastern states and regions of Australia to meet stakeholders face‑to‑face and remain visible, accessible and responsive
  • Provide purposeful, solution‑driven engagement, focused on meaningful conversations that help stakeholders determine whether AAC is the right fit — not transactional or surface‑level interactions
  • Develop a deep understanding of client needs, taking time to understand each client’s goals, environment and support requirements to ensure referrals are appropriate and well‑matched
  • Clearly articulate AAC’s value proposition, service model and referral criteria, setting clear expectations and guiding stakeholders honestly, including confidently saying “we’re not the right provider” when required
  • Strengthen referral continuity and confidence, working closely with AAC’s leadership, Client Engagement, intake and onboarding teams to support smooth transitions and high‑quality experiences
  • Monitor referral trends and market activity, capturing insights to inform service planning, growth strategy and risk management
  • Ensure all engagement aligns with governance, compliance and ethical standards, maintaining confidentiality, professionalism and accountability at all time

About You

You’re energised, proactive and confident engaging with people from all backgrounds. You have a strong background in building and maintaining professional relationships, and you take pride in making every meeting meaningful, solution focused and respectful of people’s time.

You are someone who:

  • Thrives by being out in the field and meeting new people
  • Understands the responsibility of supporting clients with complex, life impacting needs
  • A problem solver who guides others with clarity and confidence
  • Goes above and beyond to create exceptional experiences
  • Commercially minded yet deeply values-driven
  • Highly accountable, transparent and responsive
  • Values honesty, transparency and doing what’s right not what’s convenient

You will bring:

  • 5+ years’ experience in the disability sector or business development
  • Demonstrated success managing strategic, senior-level relationships
  • Proven experience in business development, partnership management or referral growth
  • Deep understanding of disability funding, service delivery pathways and referral systems
  • Proven experience building relationships through regular, in‑person engagement
  • Strong influencing, communication and stakeholder engagement capability

If you love purpose-led work, this role will feel deeply rewarding.

Why Join AAC?

You’ll join a values driven organisation with heart, purpose and ambition, entering an exciting new growth phase. You’ll be supported by a collaborative leadership team and given the autonomy to shape how new clients and case managers experience AAC.

This is more than a position it’s an opportunity to step into a trusted legacy and help shape the next era of AAC’s client development and engagement.
