Job Description

As a Business Development Officer, you will play a crucial role in driving the growth and success of our insurance business. Your primary focus will be on identifying and developing new business opportunities, building strong relationships with clients, and delivering exceptional sales performance. You will be a key contributor to our team's success, working closely with our experienced professionals to achieve our sales targets and provide excellent service to our valued customers.
  • Proactively identify and pursue new business opportunities within the UAE market.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential clients to understand their insurance needs.
  • Develop and execute effective sales strategies to achieve individual and team sales targets.
  • Prepare and deliver compelling sales presentations and proposals tailored to client requirements.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, competitor activities, and market dynamics to provide valuable insights to the team.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure a seamless customer experience throughout the sales process.
  • Provide regular feedback and insights to the management team on market trends and customer preferences.
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation of sales activities, ensuring compliance with company policies and regulations.
  • Participate in industry events, conferences, and networking opportunities to enhance MashreqBank's presence and reputation.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in life insurance sales within the UAE.
  • Proven track record of successful sales performance and a strong understanding of the local insurance market.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and establish trust with clients.
  • Strong presentation and negotiation skills, with the ability to tailor solutions to meet client needs.
  • Proficiency in using CRM systems and other sales-related software.
  • Ability to work independently and manage a diverse pipeline of prospects and clients.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • A self-motivated and results-driven approach to work.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
  • Valid driving license and willingness to travel within the UAE for business purposes.
