Salary: ₦300,000 Net Monthly

About the Role
Our client, a leading medical diagnostics and healthcare organization, is seeking a proactive and results-driven Business Development Officer to drive business growth, strengthen strategic partnerships, and expand the organization's client base.
The successful candidate will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, increasing referrals, developing relationships with healthcare stakeholders, and executing marketing initiatives that enhance the organization's market presence and revenue growth.
Key Responsibilities
Business Development & Sales
Identify and develop new business opportunities across hospitals, clinics, HMOs, corporate organizations, and healthcare providers.
Drive client acquisition and achieve assigned revenue and referral targets.
Build and maintain a strong pipeline of prospective clients and strategic partners.
Prepare business proposals, presentations, and quotations for prospective clients.
Negotiate and close business opportunities while maintaining long-term client relationships.
Relationship Management
Develop and maintain strong relationships with doctors, healthcare professionals, hospital administrators, HMOs, and corporate organizations.
Conduct regular client visits to strengthen partnerships and increase referrals.
Ensure excellent customer experience through proactive engagement and timely follow-up.
Support client onboarding and retention initiatives.
Marketing & Brand Promotion
Execute marketing campaigns and promotional activities to increase brand awareness.
Represent the organization at healthcare events, conferences, exhibitions, and medical outreaches.
Support digital marketing initiatives, including social media campaigns and email marketing.
Contribute to the development of marketing materials and promotional content.
Market Intelligence
Conduct market research to identify emerging trends, competitor activities, and new business opportunities.
Gather customer feedback and provide recommendations to improve service delivery.
Monitor industry developments and provide regular market intelligence reports.
Reporting & Administration
Maintain accurate records of client interactions and sales activities using CRM tools.
Prepare weekly and monthly business development reports.
Track sales performance, referral growth, and marketing campaign outcomes.
Perform other duties assigned by management.
Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Mass Communication, Public Relations, Healthcare Management, or a related discipline.
Experience
Minimum of 3 years' experience in Business Development, Sales, or Healthcare Marketing.
Previous experience within a medical diagnostics, healthcare, hospital, laboratory, or HMO environment is highly preferred.
Proven track record of achieving sales and business development targets.
