Job Description

Plan and coordinate sales programs for maximum sales volume and profitability within the equipment rental, OEM, engine distribution, and municipal water markets for all Cattron product lines. Interact with established customers to increase sales revenue.

As a Sales Manager at Tyro by Cattron, you play a crucial role in increasing market share and driving sales growth. In this entrepreneurial role, you make an important contribution to Cattrons’ strong growth ambitions.
As a Sales Manager, you develop a sales plan for specific market segments. Together with the Commercial Manager, you discuss the strategic vision, which you will then implement in both Mobile and Fluid and Power Markets.
You enjoy traveling and building relationships with new clients. You are given the freedom to further develop the market independently and increase market share. Cattrons’ control solutions are used worldwide to make work processes safer and more efficient. You are the first point of contact for Dutch and English-speaking clients, where customized solutions are part of daily business. Tyro by Carrton is a subsidiary of Cattron Global. It is a brand that you will help establish even more strongly among the EMEA market, in which competition is fierce.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Preparing, issuing, and actively following up on sales quotations
  • Communicate with all internal departments related to fulfilling customer requirements to support existing business and close on new business opportunities.
  • Provide day-to-day coordination of business issues relating to the customers.
  • Developing and executing a strategic sales plan for pre-selected market areas, in line with overall organizational objectives
  • Identifying and approaching potential clients and building long-term relationships with existing clients
  • Actively contributing to generating new leads and managing the sales pipeline to increase sales opportunities
  • Negotiating contracts and pricing with clients to close profitable deals
  • Providing first-line technical support to clients, with support from the Service & Engineering department
  • Reporting to the Commercial Manager on progress, market developments, and competitive activities within EMEA
  • Collaborating closely with our engineers to relieve customers and offer products that perfectly match their needs
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records and files on all accounts including sales, data, quote records, and customer contacts.
  • Attend sales meetings and conferences.
  • Provide updated marketing and sales forecasts.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Knowledge of Windows applications,
  • Proven sales performance record.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and oral
  • Must be fluent in English, German and French are preferred.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to travel frequently.
  • Valid driver’s license.

EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE

  • Minimum 3 years of sales experience, equipment rental, OEM, engine distribution, or municipal water market background preferred.
  • HBO in Business or Engineering or equivalent work experience.
  • Experience in working with ERP and CRM software
  • Experience working with manufacturing supply chains
