Business Development & Marketing Liaison - Skilled Nursing

Victorian Post Acute | Skilled Nursing & Rehabilitation

Compensation: $135K - $150K per year + Performance Bonus

Victorian Post Acute is seeking a motivated, outgoing, and results-driven Business Development & Marketing Liaison to join our team and help grow our census through strong relationships with hospitals, physicians, discharge planners, case managers, managed care organizations, and community partners.

This is a hands-on business development position for someone who understands healthcare referrals and is passionate about building relationships and creating new opportunities for a skilled nursing and rehabilitation facility.

The ideal candidate is a strong communicator, self-motivated, highly organized, and comfortable spending time in the community developing referral relationships.

What You'll Do

  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with hospitals, physicians, medical groups, managed care organizations, home health agencies, assisted living communities, and other healthcare referral sources.
  • Build and maintain a consistent referral pipeline to support census growth.
  • Meet regularly with hospital discharge planners, case managers, social workers, physicians, and other key referral partners.
  • Promote Victorian Post Acute's skilled nursing and rehabilitation services to current and prospective referral sources.
  • Conduct regular hospital, physician office, healthcare community, and referral-source visits.
  • Identify new business opportunities and develop strategies to increase referrals and admissions.
  • Maintain consistent communication with referral partners and follow up on prospective referrals.
  • Track referral activity, admissions, market trends, and business development efforts.
  • Identify opportunities to strengthen Victorian Post Acute's presence within the local healthcare community.
  • Coordinate and participate in facility tours, community events, health fairs, educational events, and other outreach activities.
  • Work closely with the Administrator, Admissions, Nursing, Social Services, and Rehabilitation teams to ensure a strong referral and admissions process.
  • Monitor competitor activity and local market trends.
  • Develop and implement creative marketing strategies to increase facility awareness and census.
  • Represent Victorian Post Acute professionally throughout the healthcare community.
  • Provide regular updates to leadership regarding referral activity, market opportunities, and progress toward census goals.

What We're Looking For

  • Previous experience in healthcare marketing, business development, admissions, or community relations preferred.
  • Skilled nursing, post-acute, rehabilitation, hospital, home health, hospice, or senior healthcare experience strongly preferred.
  • Established relationships with hospitals, physicians, discharge planners, case managers, or other healthcare referral sources is a strong plus.
  • Proven ability to develop relationships and generate new business.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Highly organized with strong follow-up skills.
  • Self-motivated and comfortable working independently in a field-based role.
  • Professional appearance and strong representation of the facility and organization.
  • Familiarity with healthcare terminology and the post-acute care referral process.
  • Ability to travel locally for business development activities.

Compensation & Opportunities

$135K-$150K annually, depending on experience

Performance-based bonus opportunities available.
