Job Description

Our client is a global tech innovator headquartered in Sri Lanka, is looking for a Business Development & Marketing Executive to join their fast-paced team in Colombo. You will be at the forefront of marketing campaigns, sales outreach, and client engagement playing a key role in growing our digital product portfolio across local and international markets.

Responsibilities:

Business Development & Client Engagement

• Identify and approach potential clients for our tech solutions (custom software, web platforms, SaaS, IoT, AI integrations).
• Prepare compelling business proposals, conduct product demos, and close sales.
• Build and manage client portfolios ensuring satisfaction, retention, and identifying upsell opportunities.
• Attend meetings, events, and expos to represent Overleap and generate leads.

Marketing & Campaign Execution

• Create high-engagement content (Reels, TikToks, product teasers) to boost brand awareness and product interest.
• Manage and schedule digital campaigns across LinkedIn, Instagram, and other platforms.
• Organize influencer collaborations, product launches, and both online and offline events.
• Monitor marketing performance, analyze metrics, and propose data-driven improvements.

Operations & Admin Support

• Maintain CRM records, proposals, and follow-ups in a structured format.
• Assist with invoicing, payment follow-ups, and internal coordination with finance.
• Support day-to-day office operations and logistics for meetings and events

Qualifications:

• Degree or diploma in Business, Marketing, IT, or a related field.
• 1+ year of experience in sales, marketing, or client-facing roles (internship experience also considered).
• Excellent English communication skillsboth written and verbal.
• Hands-on experience with tools like Canva, CapCut, Hootsuite, or other content platforms.
• A creative mindset with strong ownership and execution skills.
