From strategy to business transformation and ensuring operational and regulatory compliance. We are searching for a structured, self-driven and enterprising person to make a difference within Financial Markets.

In Swedbank you have the opportunity to:

As a business development manager working within the Business Development & Governance team, you will be part of the Markets Products organization within Financial Markets. Your main areas of responsibility will be 1) Business development & transformation, 2) Strategic planning & coordination and 3) Product & process management. Within these areas of responsibility, you will:

• Write and establish product strategies and roadmaps together with product owners, ensuring alignment to strategic frameworks

• Drive and follow up on business transformation and development activities together with relevant business stakeholders and the IT development teams

• Manage and develop trade lifecycle processes by ensuring controls to mitigate identified risks and updated processes and documentation

• Drive and manage product lifecycle management activities including ensuring updated product information, risk assessments, governance activities etc

• Support senior leadership with ad-hoc strategic analysis, decision material, workshops and management forums.

What is needed in this role:

• Background in management consulting, with a well-developed consulting skill set (“consulting toolbox”), including experience preparing senior stakeholder materials and driving complex projects while facilitating decisions on senior level

• Previous experience of working within capital markets and a good understanding of markets products, i.e., Fixed Income, Credits, FX, Equities and DCM

• Good understanding of regulations applied to market products, e.g., MIFID 2

• Hands-on and pragmatic mindset, comfortable moving between strategy, execution and detail

• Structured and driven personality with ability to adopt a versatile work-setting mindset, putting in the work when needed to meet deadlines

• Excellent stakeholder management and change management skills

• Relevant university degree, MSc or similar in engineering, finance, economics or business
