Job Description

We are looking for a driven and results-oriented Business Development Manager to act as the key link between our customers and our mill, ArcelorMittal Kryvyi Rih, Ukraine. In this role, you will manage existing wire rod customers—primarily in Poland and the Czech Republic—while actively developing new business opportunities. You will play a critical role in pricing, market analysis, and the development of high added-value (HAV) products.

Key Responsibilities

• Customer Management Build and maintain strong relationships with existing customers, ensuring high satisfaction and long-term partnership.
• Business Development Identify and acquire new customers to expand market presence and drive revenue growth.
• Price Negotiation Lead commercial negotiations to achieve competitive pricing while maintaining profitability.
• Market Analysis Monitor market trends, customer needs, and competitor activity to inform strategic decisions.
• Account Growth Increase supply share within existing accounts through cross-selling and improved service levels.
• Product Development (HAV) Collaborate with technical and production teams to develop and promote high added-value products.
• Customer–Mill Coordination Ensure smooth communication and alignment between customers and production teams.

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in economics, Engineering, or a related field
  (or equivalent experience in the steel industry)
• Proven experience in the steel industry, ideally in wire rod or related products
• Strong understanding of:
  • Market dynamics and competitors
  • Supply chain and production processes
  • Automotive sector (preferred)
• Fluency in Polish and English (written and spoken)
• Willingness to travel 30–50% within the Poland cluster
• Valid driver’s license
