What you'll do

The Business Development Manager drives commercial growth by enhancing dealer performance, supporting strategic initiatives, and aligning with Volvo Cars’ global direction. Collaboration across Sales, Marketing, Aftersales, Finance, and Supply Chain ensures strong market execution.

Further responsibilities
• Develop and execute business development strategies to support VCSA’s commercial plan.
• Support sales, profitability, and market share delivery.
• Analyse market trends and competitor insights to guide decisions.
• Lead initiatives supporting electrified mobility, digital sales, and new business models.
• Monitor retailer performance across sales, aftersales, finance, and CSI.
• Conduct dealer reviews and implement improvement actions.
• Support network expansion, facility upgrades, and brand compliance.

Qualifications & Experience
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, or related field.
• 5+ years in automotive OEM, dealer network, or commercial roles.
• Strong understanding of retail operations and automotive distribution.
• Proven stakeholder engagement and negotiation capability.
• Strong analytical and financial skills.
• Willingness to travel within South Africa.
