
This is a business development–driven role with a strong focus on identifying and driving new growth opportunities. We are looking for a candidate who brings not only commercial expertise but also a solid technical understanding to effectively position complex solutions.
Acting as a key interface between engineering and commercial teams, you will play a critical role in translating customer needs into scalable, high-impact technical solutions that align with strategic business objectives.
You will thrive in a fast-paced, innovation-led environment, combining strong business development capabilities with the ability to engage in technical discussions and solution design.
In this role, you will collaborate with a diverse ecosystem of leading enterprise Data, AI, and Automation vendors across Europe, driving joint initiatives and delivering value to customers.
This role follows a flexible hybrid working model, with occasional travel across Europe for key meetings and partner engagements.
Responsibilities:
Business Development & Strategy
Identify, qualify, and pursue new business opportunities in target markets
Develop and execute strategic account plans to achieve revenue and growth targets
Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including technical and executive decision-makers
Develop joint go to market initiatives with vendors, partners, and internal sales teams
Conduct market research and competitive analysis to inform business strategy.
Lead contract negotiations and close strategic deals
Support partner & vendor recruitment, onboarding, and enablement to expand market reach
Technical Solution Selling
Translate customer technical requirements into tailored product or service solutions
Drive discovery & business planning sessions with partners & vendors to understand customer challenges, architecture, and desired outcomes
Collaborate with engineering, product, and operations teams to develop proposals and technical presentations
Lead product demonstrations, technical workshops, and proof-of-concept initiatives
Respond to RFPs/RFIs with comprehensive technical and commercial proposals
Stay current with industry trends, emerging technologies, and competitive offerings
Help remove technical and commercial blockers during late‑stage deals
Cross-Functional Collaboration
Act as liaison between technical CoE teams and commercial stakeholders
Provide market feedback to product and engineering teams to inform roadmap decisions
Support go-to-market strategies for new product launches
Drive commercially viable multi-vendor solutions within the vendor & partner ecosystem
Coordinate with marketing to develop value propositions and technical content
Knowledge Skills and Experience
10+ years of experience in the IT industry, ideally in channel, vendor, business development, sales, or product marketing roles
Strong business development and solution-selling experience, with a clear focus on services and solutions
Ability to influence and persuade at C-level, driving favorable business outcomes in senior executive discussions
Proven experience in account and portfolio development, including identifying growth opportunities and expanding business
Strategic planning and business case development skills to support long-term growth and commercial decision-making
Strong relationship-building skills, with the ability to establish and maintain positive relationships with internal and external stakeholders
Experience working in a matrix and multinational environment, collaborating effectively across functions and regions
Confident decision-maker and proven negotiator, able to act autonomously and remove blockers in complex deals
