Job Description

We are looking for a talented to expand Barry Callebaut’s presence in Taiwan, manage customer relationships, and drive profitable growth. This role requires strong food ingredients industry knowledge, established networks in Taiwan, and the ability to deliver value-adding solutions to food manufacturers.

Key Objectives:

  • Drive profitability and volume growth.
  • Expand market presence by identifying new opportunities in the food ingredients sector.
  • Enhance customer satisfaction through reliable service and tailored solutions.
  • Develop direct engagement with key food manufacturers in Taiwan to strengthen long-term partnerships.
  • Foster collaboration across departments to deliver innovative, customer-centric solutions.


About The Role:

  • Identify and pursue new food manufacturers’ business opportunities to grow Barry Callebaut’s presence in Taiwan.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key food manufacturers’, industrial association officials.
  • Build and nurture long-term partnerships with Taiwan-based customers, ensuring reliable delivery and service excellence.
  • Achieve annual sales volume and margin goals; negotiate contracts, pricing, commercial terms, and supply chain support.
  • Partner with R&D, supply chain, and marketing teams to deliver tailored solutions.
  • Monitor competitor activity, analyze market trends, and translate insights into actionable strategies.
  • Own sales targets, profitability goals, and Forecast/CRM data accuracy/Opportunity management (Salesforce).


About You:

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Food Science, or related field; Master is a plus.
  • Fluency in English, both written and spoken


Experience:

  • Minimum of 8 years of experience in B2B sales and/or marketing
  • Minimum 3–5 years in account management, sales, or business development, ideally in food ingredients, FMCG, or B2B food solutions.
  • Strong industry knowledge in chocolate, cocoa, and the broader food sector is essential
  • Strong connections and resources within Taiwan’s food industry.

  • Strong analytical capabilities with a data-driven mindset
  • Creativity in identifying opportunities and solving business challenges
  • Excellent communication skills in English and Mandarin; able to work fluently across departments/regions
  • Forward-looking approach with the ability to anticipate market trends
  • Entrepreneurial, proactive, and highly self-driven, with strong ownership of results.
