Job Description

Business Development Manager – Thailand

medtechrec is partnered with a leading international medical device organisation to recruit a Business Development Manager for Thailand. The role will focus on strengthening national market presence, expanding access to orthopaedic and sports-medicine technologies, and supporting sustainable revenue growth via distributor optimisation and surgeon engagement.

Responsibilities include:

  • Developing national go-to-market and expansion strategies.

  • Managing and motivating distributor networks to achieve sales objectives.

  • Building relationships with surgeons, KOLs, hospital executives, and procurement teams.

  • Supporting tenders, pricing frameworks, and commercial negotiations.

  • Coordinating clinical workshops, congress activities, and product-education events.

  • Supporting introduction of new technologies into key hospital accounts.

  • Providing structured market insight and performance analysis to senior leadership.

Candidate profile:

  • Proven commercial experience in Thailands medical device sector (orthopaedics desirable).

  • Understanding of reimbursement pathways and hospital procurement processes.

  • Strong stakeholder-management and partner-development capability.

  • Able to balance strategic planning with hands-on market activity.

  • Excellent communication skills in Thai and English, with willingness to travel nationally.
