About the Opportunity

With the continued growth and expansion of our SME team across Asia, we're creating a brand new role for a Business Development Manager to help us capture this exciting market segment. You'll be at the forefront of acquiring SME companies and helping them discover smarter, simpler ways to manage travel with FCM.

We are looking for an ambitious top seller, a relationship builder and strategic thinker ready to make a real impact in a highly visible role. With Bid Management & Marketing support, a powerful tech platform and a customer obsessed team behind you, you'll own the end-to-end sales journey and be positioned for success.

What You Will Do

  • Smash your monthly, quarterly, and annual sales and total transaction value (TTV) targets
  • Develop and execute strategic sales plans to target key SME prospects
  • Identify, evaluate and prioritise new business opportunities using cold-calling, networking and creative prospecting
  • Be the ambassador of FCM and represent us when meeting key decision-makers to create new sales opportunities
  • Use a 'challenger sales' methodology, delivering strong sales presentations with passion and conviction
  • Write value-driven customer proposals and create professional responses to RFPs that maximize win-rates
  • Maintain a strong pipeline and accurately forecast projected sales revenue
  • Complete seamless handovers of closed sales to account management, providing key details to maximize TTV
  • Collaborate with Finance, Operations, Product, and HR teams to resolve client-related matters
  • Consistently use Salesforce CRM to manage activity, analyze performance and identify areas for improvement

Who We're Looking For

  • 5+ years' solid track record in successful B2B sales (travel industry experience is a plus)
  • A relationship builder who connects authentically and develops strategic-level relationships
  • Self-motivated and independent with strong interpersonal skills and a hunger for success
  • Confident presenter who delivers engaging product demonstrations
  • Strong communication and persuasion skills—both written and verbal
  • Sound commercial knowledge with ability to analyze financial data and build value-driven business cases
  • Multi-tasker who communicates effectively in a fast-paced environment
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and Salesforce.com (or similar CRM)
  • A passion for travel and the travel industry
