
Tesla is seeking a Business Development Manager to own customer relationships and expand Tesla’s Semi Truck deployments in a regional market. This person will regularly meet with Semi customers to understand their use cases, needs, and duty cycles. You will be responsible for acquiring new customers through cold outreach and pipeline cultivation, as well as maintaining existing relationships, growing key accounts, and ensuring long term retention.
You will be expected to understand fleet customer use cases, duty cycles, and confidently explain the total cost of ownership (TCO) advantages of electrification. In this role you will be expected to communicate vehicle specs, high level charging options, and general service offerings. You will be responsible for sales contracting and ensuring customers are successfully slotted for delivery in our vehicle build plan. You will work closely with Tesla’s Charging Business Development team to introduce customers who are interested in exploring charging options and ensure a charging solution is identified for their vehicle delivery. This role requires someone who can effectively communicate value and TCO and has a proven track record of closing deals in the commercial vehicles and fleet space.

Expected Compensation
$104,000 - $234,000/annual salary + cash and stock awards + benefits
Pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements dependent on the position offered.
