We are expanding rapidly and seek a highly motivated and experienced Business Development Manager to accelerate our growth in the U.S. market. This role focuses on identifying new business opportunities, nurturing client and partner relationships, and driving revenue through strategic sales initiatives.



Role Overview

The ideal candidate has a strong track record in selling IT, AI, and digital transformation services. You are a proactive self-starter with exceptional networking abilities and experience managing the full business development lifecycle—from prospecting to deal closure. Prior exposure to healthcare, life sciences, and manufacturing industries is highly preferred.



Key Responsibilities

Lead Generation & Prospecting

  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities through networking, market research, referrals, cold outreach, and digital channels.
  • Leverage existing professional networks to drive qualified leads and expand market reach.
  • Participate in conferences, industry events, webinars, seminars, and evening networking sessions to build pipeline and strengthen brand presence.

Lead Nurturing

  • Conduct timely and consistent follow-ups with leads across email, phone, LinkedIn, and in-person channels.
  • Build engagement journeys to keep leads warm and interested.
  • Expand conversations to uncover broader needs and showcase larger solution bundles that increase deal size and revenue potential.

Partnership Development

  • Build and maintain strategic alliances with technology and product partners such as Microsoft, AWS, GCP, Databricks, NVIDIA, and OpenAI.
  • Engage with senior executives and decision-makers to develop collaborative opportunities and joint go-to-market initiatives.

Business Development & Sales Process Optimization

  • Conduct follow-ups, coordinate meetings, and manage sales cycles through in-person interactions, emails, and calls.
  • Identify inefficiencies within the sales funnel and recommend improvements.
  • Support the development and execution of sales strategies, fostering a high-performance sales culture.

Research & Solution Definition

  • Perform thorough research to understand client needs, industry trends, and competitive landscapes.
  • Collaborate with technical, AI, and delivery teams to design tailored solutions aligned with client requirements.

Sales & Marketing Collateral

  • Develop high-quality sales presentations, proposals, case studies, and RFP/RFI responses.
  • Clearly articulate NextGen Invents value proposition and competitive differentiators.
  • Prepare Statements of Work (SOWs) with accuracy and within deadlines.

Client Meetings & Follow-Up

  • Plan, coordinate, and lead sales presentations, discovery discussions, and consultative meetings.
  • Drive structured follow-up cadences to move prospects through the sales funnel efficiently.

CRM & Documentation Management

  • Maintain accurate CRM data and ensure proper documentation of leads, opportunities, and sales activities.
  • Manage templates, sales documentation, and client profiles for consistency across engagements.

Campaign Execution

  • Plan and execute LinkedIn outreach and lead-generation campaigns, including messaging, targeting, and performance tracking.
  • Utilize digital tools and analytics to improve campaign ROI and lead quality.

Collaboration & Team Support

  • Work with cross-functional teams (marketing, delivery, solutions, and leadership) to refine sales strategies and co-develop opportunities.
  • Provide guidance to team members participating in lead generation and business development activities.

Skills, Knowledge & Experience

  • Bachelors degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Minimum 3+ years of proven experience in business development.
  • Experience is mandatory with an IT, AI services, or technology consulting company.
  • Demonstrated experience selling AI, data science, digital transformation, or IT services.
  • Strong business acumen with strategic thinking and problem‑solving abilities.
  • Solid understanding of IT services, AI technologies, and emerging industry trends.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Must be able to create sales presentations from scratch tailored to each opportunity.
  • Must have participated in industry conferences or supported teams during conference engagements.
  • Must demonstrate strong attention to detail and the ability to follow structured processes.
  • Hands‑on experience using AI tools to improve productivity, research quality, and overall execution speed.
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with cross‑functional teams.
  • Experience using CRM tools and sales automation platforms.
  • Must have reliable transportation to attend client meetings and sales events.
