About the Role:

We are looking for a highly motivated and entrepreneurial Business Development Manager to drive growth in our renewable energy vertical. This role requires a strategic thinker capable of identifying opportunities, building partnerships, and delivering results in a fast-evolving clean energy market.

Key Responsibilities

• Market Development & Strategy Identify and develop new business opportunities in solar, wind, storage and hybrid renewable energy projects. Conduct market research and competitor analysis to shape business strategies.
• Client Acquisition & Relationship Management Build and maintain strong relationships with corporate clients, channel partners. Lead negotiations and close deals that align with organizational goals.
• Proposal & Commercial Management Prepare proposals and presentations for prospective clients, basis the bill analysis ad client requirement. Ensure compliance with regulatory and contractual requirements.
• Entrepreneurial Leadership Drive initiatives with an ownership mindset and innovative approach. Explore new revenue streams and partnerships to expand market presence.
• Cross-functional Collaboration Work closely with technical, finance, and operations teams for seamless project execution.
• Drive strategic partnerships with industry stakeholders.
• Monitor policy changes and leverage government schemes for business advantage.
• Develop strategies for lead generation and market outreach.
• Focus, develop, nurture and maintain relationships with large corporates and key strategic sectors as identified by the Company

Requirements

Qualifications & Skills:

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or related field. MBA (preferred).
• Experience: 7-10 years in business development within renewable energy or power sector. Proven track record of closing large-scale projects and partnerships.
• Core Competencies: Entrepreneurial mindset with strong problem-solving skills. Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management abilities. Ability to work independently and thrive in a dynamic environment.
