Job Title: Business Development Manager – IT Staffing & Consulting

Stratford Solutions, Inc.
Location: Holmdel, NJ Work Schedule Normal business hour Monday to Friday
Job Type: Full-Time / Hybrid Role
Compensation: $60,000 Yearly base salary plus commission

Stratford Solutions is a National IT Staffing Company headquartered at Bell Works in Holmdel, NJ. We are growing, and we are looking for a motivated, relationship-driven Business Development Manager to help expand our IT staffing and consulting business.

This is an exciting opportunity for a sales professional who enjoys building relationships, creating new opportunities, and contributing directly to company growth. The right candidate will play a key role in developing new client partnerships and helping organizations access the talent they need to succeed.

We are looking for someone with 3-5 years of business development or staffing sales experience, ideally within IT staffing, consulting, or professional services

What You’ll Do

  • Develop and grow new client relationships for Stratford Solutions’ staffing and consulting services
  • Prospect and generate new business opportunities through outreach, networking, referrals, LinkedIn, events, and follow-up
  • Build relationships with hiring managers, executives, procurement teams, and decision-makers
  • Present Stratford Solutions’ capabilities, service offerings, and differentiators to prospective clients
  • Partner with internal recruiting and leadership teams to align client needs with qualified talent
  • Manage the sales process from lead generation through signed agreement and active job orders
  • Maintain and track pipeline activity, meetings, and account development efforts in CRM
  • Support long-term account growth through strong client service and relationship management
  • Represent Stratford Solutions professionally in the marketplace and help strengthen our presence across the tri-state area and beyond

What We’re Looking For

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in business development, staffing sales, account acquisition, or professional services sales
  • Strong preference for experience in IT staffing, consulting, or technical recruiting sales
  • Proven ability to develop new business and turn prospects into active client accounts
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills
  • Comfortable engaging with stakeholders at multiple levels, from hiring managers to executives
  • Organized, proactive, and able to manage a sales pipeline effectively
  • Experience using CRM tools, Microsoft Office, and LinkedIn for business development

Preferred Experience

  • Existing relationships in the New York, New Jersey, or Connecticut market
  • Experience selling into public sector, transportation, infrastructure, healthcare, or enterprise IT environments
  • Familiarity with staffing agreements, consulting engagements, MSP/VMS environments, and procurement processes
  • Experience working with or alongside certified supplier diversity firms

Compensation

This position offers a $60,000 base salary plus commission Commission is tied to profitable new business generated for the company, offering strong upside for a candidate who is motivated by growth and results.
