We are seeking a PhD-level scientist with deep expertise in Immunology, Inflammation, and Immuno-Oncology who is motivated to translate science into impactful client partnerships.

This role is designed for a scientifically driven professional who enjoys engaging directly with biotech and pharmaceutical R&D leaders, shaping preclinical strategies, and commercializing advanced discovery and translational platforms. You will act as a scientific ambassador for QIMA Life Sciences, representing and expanding our capabilities in the I&I and IO programs.

Success will be driven by scientific credibility, solution design, and the ability to align QIMA’s platforms to client pipelines at the earliest stages of discovery.

Do you have the scientific depth to engage as a peer with discovery and translational leaders in Immunology and Immuno-Oncology? Are you comfortable designing integrated preclinical strategies spanning in vitro, ex-vivo and in vivo? Do you enjoy building long-term scientific partnerships and guiding programs from target discovery through preclinical proof-of-concept?

Job responsibilities:

Reporting directly to the Head of PharmaSales Director for North America region, you'll spearhead our expansion into the vibrant North American market.

Your mission? To surpass ambitious sales targets through your expert and systematic approach.

Your main responsibilities will be to:

  • Develop Business Development Strategies
  • Generate technical proposals that meet client needs:
  • Forge connections Utilize a variety of effective methods, from strategic cold calling to networking at industry events, to uncover promising leads and nurture fruitful relationships.
  • Own your success Develop your own client portfolio, catering to a diverse array of companies involved in importing and exporting consumer goods, spanning from cutting-edge electronics to trendy apparel, furniture and beyond.
  • Cultivate lasting partnerships Identify prospective clients, foster meaningful engagement, and skillfully seal the deal, ensuring a seamless transition from lead to loyal customer.
  • Drive growth Act as a trusted advisor to our existing clients, championing additional services and maximizing their utilization of our innovative tools, including our intuitive online dashboard.
  • Clients’ engagement Foster meaningful interactions and cultivate relationships with clients throughout North America, ensuring seamless collaboration and effective customer support, aligned with our first Company Value: Client Passion

Qualifications

  • PhD in Immunology, Inflammation, Cancer Biology, or related discipline.
  • Hands-on experience with preclinical models relevant to autoimmune disease, inflammation, or cancer immunology.
  • Ability to translate complex biology into compelling scientific value propositions.
  • Prior exposure to CROs, biotech partnerships, or scientific consulting strongly preferred.
  • Substantial background in B2B sales, with a minimum of 7 years of experience.
  • Native proficiency in English, demonstrating strong communication skills.
  • Proven track record as a distinguished sales professional adept at prospecting new business opportunities and cultivating a personal client base.
  • Familiarity with the product testing and inspection sector, coupled with a comprehensive understanding of global trade dynamics.
  • Exceptional negotiation skills, complemented by the ability to discern social cues and navigate diverse cultural contexts effectively.
  • Proficient in self-management, capable of autonomously organizing and prioritizing tasks without constant oversight.
