Reports To: Vice President of Sales
We are seeking a results-driven Business Development Manager to drive growth and expand our Indoor Air Quality (IAQ) solutions within the residential HVAC contractor market. This role will focus on building relationships and awareness with HVAC professionals, increasing brand awareness, and driving sales of our IAQ products and services. The ideal candidate has a strong background in HVAC sales, business development, or IAQ solutions, along with a passion for improving indoor air quality and customer well-being.
Develop and execute strategic sales plans to identify, engage, and grow relationships with residential HVAC contractors and wholesale distributors where applicable.
Identify new business opportunities to increase market penetration and revenue.
Provide technical expertise and product education to HVAC contractors, helping them integrate IAQ solutions into their service offerings.
Conduct presentations, webinars, and training sessions to educate customers on IAQ product benefits and applications.
Collaborate with marketing and product teams to develop targeted campaigns and materials.
Negotiate contracts, pricing, and partnership agreements.
Track and analyze market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs to refine sales strategies.
Work closely with the internal sales team to ensure excellent customer support and satisfaction.
5+ years of experience in business development, sales, or account management in the HVAC, IAQ, or building/home solutions industry.
Strong network and relationships within the residential HVAC contractor market.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
Ability to conduct technical sales discussions and provide hands-on product training.
Self-motivated, results-oriented, and able to work independently.
Proficiency in CRM software and other sales tools.
Willingness to travel as needed for client meetings, industry events, and training sessions.
Experience selling HVAC products & solutions such as climate control or ventilation systems, filtration products, humidity control systems.
Knowledge of HVAC industry regulations and best practices.
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Sales, Engineering, Marketing, or a related field (preferred but not required).
