We always strive to exceed the expectations of our clients, which include major tech companies, fintech's, financial institutions, financial investors (which includes private equity and infrastructure investors), corporates from all sectors, governments, regulators, trade bodies and non-profit organisations.

We’re looking for a Business Development Manager to support our Global Financial Markets (GFM) business in Amsterdam on temporary basis In this role, you’ll work at the centre of one of the firm’s largest global business units, partnering with GFM leaders locally, regionally and across the global network. You’ll play a key part in driving client development, market positioning and strategic growth for a business representing a significant share of the firm’s global revenue.

What you’ll do

• Support and deliver BD and marketing plans that align with European and global GFM strategy.
• Track BD performance and ROI to help drive targeted, evidence‑based decision‑making.
• Use client, sector and market insights to identify opportunities across local, regional and global markets.
• Provide high‑quality, tailored support on significant GFM pitches, proposals and capability materials.
• Strengthen the practice’s profile through events, thought leadership and external communications.
• Collaborate with BD colleagues across Europe and the global GFM network to ensure coordination and consistency.
• Encourage the use of innovation, technology and AI to enhance efficiency and BD delivery.

Qualifications

What you bring

• Experience in business development, ideally in a professional services or law‑firm environment.
• Strong interest in financial markets and the work of a leading GFM practice.
• Confidence working with senior stakeholders and building trusted relationships.
• Clear communication, strong organisation and a proactive, practical approach.
• Academic degree in a relevant field required; Master’s preferred.
