Job Description

As a Business Development Manager specializing in servo motion, secure new business and expand existing client relationships across the EMEA region. You will work closely with the Sales/Applications teams to identify opportunities, cultivate strong client relationships, and close high-value deals.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Territory
    • Italy, Austria, Switzerland, South Germany, Poland
    • Eastern Europe Leads
New Business Development
    • Drive the acquisition of new clients through both online and offline lead generation strategies.
    • Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the motion controls sector.
    • Development of Eastern Europe
Account Management
    • Manage and nurture existing client accounts to ensure satisfaction and identify opportunities for growth.
    • Develop and maintain long-term relationships with key stakeholders in client organisations.
Sales Leadership
    • Lead and support sales meetings, proposals, and pitches to prospective clients.
    • Collaborate with the Sales team to develop and refine sales strategies and tactics.
Lead Qualification
    • Qualify inbound leads and ensure they align with business objectives.
    • Generate new leads through market/ industry intelligence and media.
Sales Collateral and Service Improvement
    • Contribute to the development and enhancement of sales collateral and service offerings to better meet client needs.
CRM and Reporting
    • Capture and maintain accurate data in the CRM system.
    • Provide reliable and insightful reporting on sales activities and performance.
    • Act as a liaison between clients and internal teams to facilitate effective communication and project execution.
Market Insights
    • Gather and communicate market insights and customer feedback to inform business strategy and service development.
 
QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS:
  • Proven experience in business development, sales, or account management, preferably within the motion controls industry.
  • Strong understanding of the servo motion market and its applications.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong client relationships.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead sales meetings and close high-value deals.
  • Proficiency in CRM software and data management.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
  • Self-motivated and results-oriented with a strong drive to achieve targets.
 
GOALS:
Create Sales Pipeline
    • Develop a pipeline of at least 5 qualified leads per month through online and offline strategies.
Generate New Opportunities
    • Generate at least 2 new opportunities per month from the qualified leads.
Reporting
    • Provide weekly reports on sales activities and performance metrics.
Market Insights
    • Maintain awareness of emerging trends and opportunities within the servo motion market.
Metrics
      • Lead Pipeline: Number of qualified leads generated.
      • New Opportunities: Number of new customers and opportunities.
      • Revenue: Potential revenue from new opportunities created.
