Job Description

Rotork is the market-leading global flow control and instrumentation company, helping our customers manage the flow of liquids, gases and powders across many industries worldwide.

Our purpose is Keeping the World Flowing for Future Generations.

For over sixty years, the world has relied on us to create the things that keep everything moving. From oil and gas to water and shipping, pharmaceuticals and food- these are the flows on which our modern world depends.

Today we're respected and admired for our people, performance and products. Our success flows from our commitment to engineering excellence, and that's what we will always pursue, safely and sustainably.

Rotork is going through an exciting period of change and growth, building on our existing market success. It's a great time to join us and make an impact in shaping the future of our business.

The Business Development Manager - Data Centres & Strategic Mining Growth (ANZ) is a newly created strategic growth role responsible for leading Rotork Australia's expansion into the rapidly growing Data Centre market whilst also supporting targeted Mining growth initiatives across Australia and New Zealand.

Approximately 75% of the role will focus on establishing Rotork as a preferred technology and specification partner within the Data Centre sector by developing relationships with hyperscale operators, colocation providers, consultants, EPC contractors, OEMs and system integrators. The role will drive early-stage project engagement, specification influence and OEM platform adoption to deliver the objectives outlined in Rotork's approved ANZ Data Centre Growth Strategy.

The remaining 25% of the role will support execution of the Mining Growth Plan through targeted business development activities focused on strategic mining accounts, major project opportunities, asset owners, EPCM organisations and selected OEM partners. The objective is to identify and convert high-value opportunities where Rotork's actuation, automation and service capabilities can generate sustainable growth and increased market share.

The position is designed to create new market access, improve specification influence, strengthen key customer relationships and accelerate growth across two of Rotork Australia's highest priority strategic sectors. The role will work across multiple Rotork divisions and functions to build long-term pipeline opportunities, influence project specifications and position Rotork as a trusted technology partner across both sectors.

Success will be measured through market penetration, strategic account development, project pipeline creation, specification wins, revenue growth and contribution to the delivery of both the ANZ Data Centre Strategy and Mining Growth Plan.
