Job Description

A well-established and growing packaging company is seeking a new Business Development Manager to help drive continued growth in its thermoforming division. With recent investments - including a new inline thin gauge thermoformer that recently came online - the company has expanding capacity and is looking for a motivated, long-term team member to capitalize on new opportunities. The organization offers a collaborative culture, full in-house tooling and prototyping capabilities, and a strong reputation in the custom packaging space.

This role will inherit an existing $2M book of business, as the current BDM transitions to another division. The need is about driving revenue via farming with the existing clients... and hunting to open up new business channels and clients. It is all custom products, and they have full tooling, prototyping, and sampling capabilities onsite.

  • Must have proven experience in solutions selling custom packaging products, preferably in med device and/or pharma packaging; industrial and consumer products packaging works as well
  • Must be based in the northeast.
  • Strong experience in thin gauge thermoforming is preferred
