What you’ll do – Your role in making an impact

Business Development Manager is responsible for developing, managing, and growing relationships with Cisco reseller partners. This role focuses on driving Cisco product, software, and services adoption while enabling partners to maximize profitability and customer success.

Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the main point of contact for assigned Cisco partners, building strong, trust-based relationships.

  • Develop and execute joint business plans to accelerate Cisco sales growth.

  • Drive Cisco product, software, and recurring revenue adoption across assigned partners.

  • Meet or exceed sales quotas and market share targets in collaboration with Cisco.

  • Educate partners on Cisco’s portfolio, promotions, and partner programs

  • Support partners in building Cisco practice capabilities in security, collaboration, networking, and cloud.

  • Forecast sales accurately and manage pipeline through CRM tools.

  • Collaborate with Cisco channel managers and Ingram Micro teams (technical, marketing, operations) to ensure seamless partner experience.

What you bring to the role:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, IT, or related field (or equivalent experience).

  • Minimum 3-5 years of channel sales, distribution, or vendor account management experience (Cisco experience preferred).

  • Proven track record in achieving and exceeding sales targets.

  • Strong understanding of Cisco’s go-to-market strategy, portfolio, and partner programs is an asset.

  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.

  • Demonstrates a strong hunter mentality, takes ownership and accountability for delivering outcomes, and works collaboratively to achieve business objectives and drive success.

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office including Excel and CRM systems
