We are seeking a Business Development Manager (all genders) based in Berlin, or working remotely within Germany.
Your mission with us:
As a Business Development Manager, you will work on enabling the successful delivery of our government certified courses that prepare participants for state exams and support recognition of their qualifications in Germany, while ensuring smooth collaboration with partners, stakeholders, and authorities.
Your tasks:
- Take independent ownership of developing project plans for educational products according to internal guidelines, while taking into account any specific characteristics of the respective target audience.
- Maintain project schedules and timelines, proactively identify and forecast potential risks, and provide data-driven progress reports.
- Execute projects in collaboration with internal stakeholders (e.g., Operations, Learning Hub, Product, and Sales).
- Scope and formalize partnership agreements; align deliverables, reporting, and success metrics.
- Manage and nurture relationships with partners and relevant public institutions; take end-to-end ownership of the partnerships.
- Ensure compliance and audit-ready programs
- Monitor regulatory requirements and funding guidelines, translating them into clear, actionable steps for internal and external stakeholders.
- Drive and expand projects based on outcomes and partner feedback; take ownership of adjusting the scope when needed.
- Maintain project and process timelines, facilitate and forecast potential risks, and report progress with data.
- Identify inefficiencies and implement process improvements to ensure quality and compliance.
You bring to Lingoda
- 3+ years of professional experience in business development, partnership management, or operational project management.
- Experience in education, hospitality, or skilled trades, OR experience with government funding programs, OR comparable relevant professional experience.
- Clear and empathetic communication skills.
- C2 German and C1 English proficiency.
- Working knowledge of relevant regulatory or quality guidelines, alongside disciplined documentation and experience in ensuring compliance during project execution.
- Hands-on experience with CRM tools, experience with Hubspot is a bonus.
